Rodent Service

Rats can be most easily be distinguished from a mouse by their size and thickness of their tail.

Do you hear noise at night in your attic? It’s most likely some type of animal. And many times that noise is a rat. Or maybe you are seeing mice droppings in your kitchen? Mice and rats are problematic and can cause a lot of damage, plus they carry many different diseases.

Rat Problems

LoveBug Pest Control offers services to treat your rodent problems by baiting or trapping, or a combination of both. We will start by first identifying the source of the noise.  It might be a rat in your attic or you could have other animals such as a squirrel or a raccoon that is making his home in your attic. Rats are not limited to making their home in your attic either.  Norway rats are a different rat species than roof rats and typically can make their home in the ground cover of your yard.  Either way, LoveBug Pest Control will determine the problem and setup a plan to get rodents under control.

RAT CONTROL – LOVEBUG ACTION PLAN:

Is it rat droppings or squirrel droppings? Knowing the difference will help determine the correct plan of action for trapping.

1)  Identify whether you have a rodent problem or a wildlife problem.
2)  Create a plan to trap, bait, and exclude the rat from entering again.
3)  Minor exclusion is included.  If exclusion work is other than minor, we can quote you a price or refer you to a local handyman.
4)  Our service usually includes three trips.  If problem is severe more trips may be required at an additional cost.

Mice Problems

Seeing droppings in your kitchen or a bag of food that has been chewed open is a pretty strong sign that you have a mice problem. Even the most well built houses can develop a mice problem. The reason is that mice can flatten themselves down to next to nothing, and squeeze through door cracks, window cracks, and many other other openings such as plumbing penetrations if not properly sealed.

Although mice are not as scary looking as a rat, they are still very unhealthy to have inside your home.

And like rats, mice are strong chewers that can cause damage to your home. In the wintertime, mice like to enter into your home to get out of the cold. Once a colony is established, you have a problem.  Also in Texas, many mice will also find your home nice and cool in the summertime, and a colony can easily multiply quickly.

MICE CONTROL – LOVEBUG ACTION PLAN:

1)  Identify your problem – usually homeowners already know when they have a mice problem.
2)  Create a plan to trap, bait, and exclude.
3)  Minor exclusion is included.  If exclusion work is other than minor, we can quote you a price or refer you to a local handyman.
4)  Our service usually includes three trips.  If problem is severe more trips may be required at an additional cost.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
