Small insect with a huge ability to jump many times their size.  Fleas have piercing/sucking mouth parts and typically seek a blood meal every two days. Eggs from a flea hatch within about 10 days and development from egg to adult can happen in 16 days or as long as a year. Controlling fleas (and ticks), more than any other insect is best when it is a coordinated effort between the homeowner and pest control provider. The problem lies with the eggs that will hatch after treatment. LoveBug Pest Control uses an insect growth regulator as an instrument to control fleas and their future hatching, but we also recommend two treatments to be on the safe side.
